Here is a brief pictorial review of our 2025 with some of the different activities we’re involved in. (In case, you don’t know what we’re all about, there is a brief overview at the end of this article.)
Shows and Seminars

For years now, we’ve done Christmas shows at a Catholic Centre for children with physical disabilities to bring life and joy to them. We also help them with food and other supplies.

Coach Dozie runs a football academy for children and teenagers, he regularly invites us to come and talk to his trainees about applying Christian principles to life and sports. We always perform some songs while at it.

We are invited to schools from time to time to talk to the students either about Christian ethics and morals or about our lives, serving the Lord, etc.
Humanitarian Aid

Car loaded with food supplies for the needy. All locally sponsored by individuals and companies.

Food distribution recipients. Each person also receives a tract. Several of our friends and members are involved in distributing the packages as well as they can reach areas we cannot.

First batch of food items, etc. packed and awaiting distribution.

Bringing supplies to an orphanage run by an American missionary who is married to a Nigerian and has been in Nigeria for decades. He and his wife adopt abandoned children and raise them as their own.
Scholarships
For several years running now, through friends and supporters, we’ve been able to run a scholarship programme for bright children from impoverished families

Another of the children on scholarship with his awards as the best performing student in his class.

Sean teaching another of our scholarship recipients how to play the recorder.

Setting up donated computers for distribution to individuals who have completed IT courses but have nothing to work with
Follow Up
As Christian missionaries, we believe that being born again is only the first step. After being born, a baby needs lots of care to facilitate proper growth towards maturation until they are able to bear children themselves. This care and focusing on individual growth in the Lord is what we call ‘Follow Up.’

With Chika, a longtime friend who runs a school and uses our books and materials. We’ve done teacher-training seminars at her school too and we recently gave her a flash drive packed with Christian videos, music, etc. for training the children.

With Emeka, a close friend who used to be our football team’s captain. Always seeing the humorous side of every situation, he brings joy wherever he goes and now he’s armed with tracts too.

With Juliet who we’ve known almost from the day we came to Port Harcourt, 29 years ago. She’s known us since Lily and Marc were knee-high to grasshoppers and has been a positive influence on her Muslim bosses.

A friend in a plane with the Key Bible Verses booklet we gave him. Key Bible Verses is a booklet that has the basic Bible verses on basic topics arranged categorically for easy reference.
Miscellaneous

Some of the trials of life when our sceptic tank collapsed after days of continuous rain.

Exciting sights on the road. Overloaded trucks are common here. But “Even now, he can do it!”

Our whole team of eight with a good friend who supports us personally, not for projects.
Summary
We are able to accomplish all of this voluntarily through the generous support of individuals and companies, who donated to either the projects or to our monthly upkeep. Your contributions make all this work possible. We appreciate you all so much. God bless.
“Family Care Eduvision” Nigeria.
Overview:
Family Care Eduvision International Services (FCEIS) was founded as an NGO in Nigeria in 2005 and operates in Port Harcourt and Abuja, though our initial team started the work in 1997. Our aim has been to create a positive impact on our society by helping our community in practical ways: physically, morally and educationally.
Our projects include:
- Primary and Secondary schools in Abuja
- Adult literacy programmes
- Teacher Training
- Vocational centres
- Leadership training courses
- Character-building seminars
- Sponsorships for disadvantaged individuals
- Community support for orphanages
In Port Harcourt:
Life Time Caring Orphanage:
Throughout the 10 years that FCEIS has been operating in Port-Harcourt, Nigeria, providing orphanage and community assistance and offering our help to those in need has been an important focus.
FCEIS has acquired sponsors and donors for Life Time Caring Orphanage upgrading and improving the living standard of the orphanage and a better environment created for the children.
Sponsorships:
Medical sponsorships e.g. surgery for bone deformities and Academic sponsorships
Acquiring sponsorship for the underprivileged in need has also been an ongoing project that our unit has undertaken over the years. We initially assess whether the funds or donated items will be used effectively for the purpose intended. Secondly, we source the needed support from the local business community and provide documentation, so the donors see their sponsorship put to good use and the recipients receive support to meet their immediate needs.
