To be honest with you, I’ve started a few too many projects without completing the ones I’ve already got on my plate.
It’s not really a case of overwhelm; it’s a case of trying to do too much at once and making very minimal progress in any of them.
- I’ve put the 12 Foundation Stones Course online here: 12foundationstonescourse.teachable.com
- But since it doesn’t allow me to interact with students and get feedback from them about what they’ve learned and how they’re putting it into practice, I’ve been looking into a lot of other programs (thinkific, systeme.io, thrivecart, etc)
- I’ve been invited to review an online workout program, as I’ve mentioned before. While working out daily is prioritized,
it’s difficult to find time to write…I don’t have it very high on my list of priorities. - I’m still working on cutting up and putting the Jocko Podcast episodes into JcNuggets.
- Been working on a series of articles along the lines of Jesus v Jocko, but I’ve been all over the Bible now, so it’s not just Jesus… (It was fun when it was alliterative…)
All of these things are very time-intensive, and this is in addition to the daily things that I need to do:
- Taking care of my boys
- Making sure we’re all staying happy and healthy (food, rest, exercise)
- Making sure they’re not suffering academically or spiritually
- Making sure that my husband is also happy and healthy 😉
- Keep things neat and tidy in the house
- etc, etc, etc. (I’m sure you know what goes into daily living)
Posting here weekly seems to have been pushed further and further down the list, but this will change.
I will employ Jocko’s idea of Prioritize and Execute (covered in his book Extreme Ownership).
See you next week!
